?Holistic Treatment - My Philosophy?
I believe in the Creator; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
This has, however, not always been the case.
I was brought up as a child with the influence of two denominations, i.e. Catholic and Protestant. This for me came over as very controlling, fearful and manipulative. Even though I'd given my life to The Lord Jesus as a child, for the above reasons I walked away from religion, and as a rebellious teenager believed I had made a mistake and that God did not really exist!
He, however, loves us so much that He allowed me to suffer and cause me to embark on a Spiritual Journey which I've now been on since 1980. He says that "It is best to have born the yoke of suffering/discipline in ones youth" (Lamentations 3:27).
To become spiritual I believe we need to have bodies which are becoming cleansed Temples. Disease is caused by pollution which we breathe in, drugs, junk foods, dehydration, lack of oil, vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Negative emotions also contribute to this toxic state. All this causes a poisoned colon, liver and blood stream, a toxic mind and subsequent toxic behaviour patterns. I believe the remedy is to work a 12 step spiritual programme to heal the emotions and to learn to release resentments, bitterness, anger, jealousy, guilt, fear etc. In my philisophy the best way to do this is to be in a 12 step life recovery programme, to meditate on the Life Recovery Bible, and to heal with detoxification, using natural foods to build up the immune system.
Our Living Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ, instructs us to "Confess our faults to one another and to pray for one another so that we will be healed" (James 5:16). Also not to live in the past which is history. To remember the happy times, but to be free from the negative emotions associated with the unhappy times. Nor to live in the future which is a mystery and (without Jesus) will invite fear and uncertainty. Going to psychics and fortune tellers will get us into the occult kingdom which belongs to the god of this world (lucifer, satan or the devil) who has not got our best interests at heart. However, without a vision the people perish, so we must have a plan or vision for how we wish to plan our future and to have goals to achieve this end. If we belong to the Lord Jesus Christ then we have the assurance of entering into the Kingdom of God and of spending eternity with Him in Heaven, as He is the only way by which we will arrive there. Most importantly we learn to live in the present, which is a gift, and that is why its called the 'present'.
We learn to let go and to trust God, to receive His love for us and to come to know Him in all fullness and to appropriate into our lives everything which He wants us to experience as a result of the Atonement which He purchased for us through His suffering on the cross at Calvary, which was a once and for all sacrifice! He did this because He loves us so much. We all need a Saviour because, as descendants of Adam, we have all fallen short of perfection. We still continue to fall short even when we have committed our life to Jesus (the second Adam). However the good news is that when Jesus ascended into heaven He sent His Holy Spirit into the world. The Holy Spirit's work is to help us understand the Bible and to bring conviction (not condemnation) of sin and of righteousness and of judgement into our lives. The sanctification process has just begun when we receive the Lord Jesus as our Saviour and make Him the Lord of our life.
The enemy of our souls, satan, is trying to hinder us from becoming free and knowing the Truth which will set us free! We will start to know more Truth (if you abide in My Word (Holy Bible) and My Words abide in you, then you will know the Truth and the Truth will set you free (John 8:31). Then we will begin to experience more joy, peace, love, abundance and happiness which will flow into our lives as we put into practice being an open channel to flow out to others.
When we pray for the peace of Jerusalem and support Israel financially, especially those ministries which help the Jews return to their land, then He will bless us Psalm 122.6 Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem "May they prosper who love you the Holy City."
Throughout the Bible we continually learn that the blessing falls on the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Therefore this includes all of us believers in Yeshua, (Jesus) who are grafted into Israel (Romans 9, 10 and 11). If we bless Israel God will bless us, if we curse Israel then He will curse us (Genesis 12:3).
